Kwn

Kwn lands at DPRTMNT in Toronto on April 5, 2026. Raised in Walthamstow, East London, the British singer, songwriter, rapper and producer Khyra Leah Wilson blends contemporary R&B with UK garage pulses, house undertones, trap edges and soulful harmonies, shaped by Nigerian and Irish roots. She first put music online as a teen, then sharpened her craft at East London Arts & Music. After an early spell as k1, she switched to Kwn to mark a more hybrid, self-defined sound, somewhere between intimate urban ballad and shadowy electronics.

Signed early by Black Butter Records, she introduced her debut EP Episode Wn in 2022, followed by tracks like No Cinderella and Five More that outlined her tone: direct, melodic, a little raw around the edges. Post-label, 2024’s Worst Behaviour, a remix with Kehlani and the assertive Do What I Say pushed her further, leading to the 2025 EP With All Due Respect via RCA Records and Wnway Limited. On stage, Kwn keeps it stripped and clear: layered vocals, clipped hooks, low-end pressure and candid delivery, echoing the one-take feel of her videos. A set built on mood and groove, with UK club DNA threading through each track, for a night centered on voice, rhythm and unfiltered presence.
