Daniel Caesar brings the Son Of Spergy Tour to Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary on August 15, 2026. The Canadian singer-songwriter has carved a path between contemporary R&B, soul, gospel and neo-soul, with a focus on vocal harmonies and understated arrangements where piano, guitar and soft textures take the lead. Emerging from Toronto’s independent scene with the EPs Praise Break and Pilgrim’s Paradise, he reached a wider audience with Freudian in 2017, followed by Case Study 01 in 2019 and Never Enough in 2023. On stage, he favors melodic songwriting and intimate tempos, moving between introspective ballads and slow-burning grooves, with collaborations over the years that include Kali Uchis, H.E.R., Brandy, Justin Bieber and Tyler, The Creator.
Also on the bill, 070 Shake blurs the lines between rap, alternative R&B and shadowy pop with electronic contours. First noticed with the 070 collective before joining GOOD Music, she stepped into the spotlight via features with Kanye West and Pusha T, then defined her own space with the EP Glitter in 2018, the album Modus Vivendi in 2020 and You Can’t Kill Me in 2022. Her tracks often lean on slow tempos, synth pads and melodic refrains, switching between sung lines, spoken word and rap to build dense, nocturnal atmospheres.
