On June 29, 2026, Mark Knight brings his club-first house sound to Rebel in Toronto. Active since the early 2000s, the UK DJ, producer and remixer has shaped a signature balance of sturdy grooves, driving basslines and a line that runs from classic house to tech house with flashes of disco. In 2003 he launched Toolroom Records, the label that anchors much of his output as well as a long list of collaborations and remixes. The mid-2000s saw a run of tracks played widely in clubs, including Man with the Red Face with Funkagenda (2008) and Downpipe with D. Ramirez and Underworld (2009).
Behind the decks, Knight favors clean builds, functional breakdowns and vocal touches that carry the room. His sets fold originals, remixes and fresh Toolroom releases into a paced, floor-focused arc that leans on groove over gimmick. For this Toronto date at Rebel, expect a straight-ahead session of house and tech house that connects past references with current tools, delivered by an artist who keeps the dancefloor at the center of his approach.
