Chicago-born DJ and producer John Summit lands in Ibiza with his Experts Only residency, and on 15 June 2026 he takes control of UNVRS, Sant Rafel de Forca. Known for a club-focused house sound built on clean basslines, tight percussion and melodic lift-offs, Summit enchaîns long, driving mixes made for the floor, moving between tech house foundations and flashes of progressive or trance. Breakout track Deep End opened a wider path in 2020; since then, cuts like Where You Are and Shiver have pushed his writing toward bigger vocal moments without losing that direct, functional pulse.
As label head, Summit treats Experts Only as both a studio outlet and a curatorial space. This date extends that approach in the booth: precise selection, sharp transitions, tension-and-release peaks, and handpicked guests from the roster to shift gears through the night. Rooted in Chicago’s heritage yet wired for today’s clubs and festivals, his sets favour momentum over spectacle, aiming straight at collective release. Ibiza gets the distilled version here at UNVRS: fast on the blends, heavy on groove, and built to keep the room locked in.
