in.between pres. Gerd Janson [daytime event]

On April 11, 2026, in.between will take over Fridas Pier on Uferstraße in Stuttgart. On the bill are two artists who have been playing together seamlessly for years: Gerd Janson and Igor Tipura.

Gerd Janson comes from the Rhein-Main scene around Frankfurt and Offenbach. As a longtime resident at Robert Johnson and the head of the Running Back label, he shapes an open interpretation of club music that moves between house, disco, techno and electro. His sets combine clear rhythms and springy basslines with historical references, edits and surprising twists. In addition to his solo sets, he performs with Phillip Lauer as Tuff City Kids—always with an ear for danceable hooks and carefully placed tension arcs that keep the floor together.

Igor Tipura is known as the driving force behind Kitjen and anchors the sound both locally and internationally. His sense of groove, elegant transitions and warm, housey textures naturally complement Janson’s selections. Together they create a flow that needs no grand gestures and puts the essentials front and center: carefully curated tracks that blend seamlessly and carry the room—just the thing for a Saturday on the Neckar.
