Darkside

DARKSIDE is mounting a residency at La Gaîté Lyrique in Paris for four concerts over two nights, on 8 and 9 July 2026. Born of the close collaboration between producer Nicolas Jaar and multi‑instrumentalist Dave Harrington, the group perform here in an intimate format conceived as a live laboratory. Joined on stage by Tlacael Esparza on percussion, they extend the momentum begun in autumn 2025 at the Lodge Room in Los Angeles: extended sets, flexible forms, and space left for improvisation and repetition.

On stage, the trio freely draws from its entire repertoire, interweaving textured guitars, vocals in half‑light and electronic pulses, between slowed‑down psychedelic rock, driving blues and experimental passages. The percussion brings a more organic dimension, opening shifting spaces where the pieces transform in real time. In continuity with the 2025 concerts, where DARKSIDE allowed themselves long excursions and on‑stage encounters, this Paris series continues that open, evolving approach.
