Svinkels Family & Friends

Svinkels bring their alternative rap and dry one-liners back to the Big Band Café in Hérouville-Saint-Clair on December 12, 2026. Gérard Baste, Nikus Pokus and Mr Xavier take the mic again, backed by DJ Myst, for a set that pulls from their classics as well as their more recent material. Born in the 1990s, they forged a distinct style: spot-on wordplay, a subversion of the rules, a love of rock and punk, and choruses meant to be chanted without ceremony. On stage it swings between party bangers and tales of sleepless nights, delivered with a knack for lighting up the room without taking themselves too seriously.

Expect to hear tracks taken from Bons pour l’asile, Trois points de suspension or Dirty Centre, mixed with songs from Rechute. The Family & Friends format promises a crew-like energy, winks and in-house connections in the collective spirit that has followed the group since their beginnings. On the bill: heavy beats, precise scratching, raspy flows and biting punchlines, all served with the offbeat sense of humour that has become Svinkels’ trademark.
