On June 11, 2026 at La Rayonne, Villeurbanne, DaviD takes the stage with a rock fed by intimate experiences and well-rooted influences. Born in Gennevilliers in 1986, he was first trained on the violin before falling for the guitar. He gained recognition alongside Raphaël Carlier in the duo Mcfly et Carlito, through radio, web formats and a first recording venture in 2021. After a pause in 2023, he refocused his trajectory and chose to create under his given name, DaviD.

With his EP Le But du Je, released in 2025, he asserts a direct songwriting voice that sits between melodic rock, post-rock and neo-metal touches. The guitars spread wide, the melodies linger, and the lyrics probe the fractures, relationships and memories that unsettle yet illuminate. On stage, DaviD favors authenticity and the dynamics of live playing, driven by influences such as Dream Theater, Coldplay, Incubus and A Perfect Circle, which inform his arrangements without fixing them in place.

This concert is an opportunity to experience that artistic transformation live, balancing contained energy with building tension, with voice and guitar to the fore. DaviD is still writing his debut album: at La Rayonne he already unveils its material, mixing new songs with tracks from the EP for a clear, no-nonsense rock journey.
