Nashville Pussy will set up their amps on May 12, 2026, at the Secret Place in Saint-Jean-de-Védas. Born in Atlanta in the mid-1990s, the band plays hard rock infused with Southern rock, punk and boogie, built for clubs and tight stages. At the heart of the quartet, Blaine Cartwright’s raspy voice and rhythm guitar trade off with Ruyter Suys’s cutting playing — a central figure whose edgy solos and instinct for a riff send each song soaring, while the rhythm section maintains a simple, massive groove.

In concert, Nashville Pussy delivers songs that smell of the road and gasoline, sitting between driving blues rock and no-nonsense choruses. The set draws from their standout records, from the early Let Them Eat Pussy and High as Hell to the more recent Up the Dosage and Pleased to Eat You. You get that direct, squared-off mix: fast riffs, sharp breaks, lyrics about excess and freedom, and an unapologetic bar-rock energy, without frills. It’s been the band’s DNA since their first club and festival tours, and it continues on stage today, with a tight, upfront sound and a guitar-drum-bass chemistry that values effectiveness over showmanship.
