Dub Dynasty, Ondubground, Ashkabad and Bakû converge at La Laiterie, Strasbourg, on 3 October 2026 for a session where dub, digital reggae and bass music interact directly.
Led by brothers Olo and Art-X, Ondubground have been shaping a French dub since the mid‑2000s that blends roots heritage, sound system culture and British electronic influences. Deep bass, echoes and Jamaican skanks, inflections drawn from dubstep and jungle: their live set moves in layers, alternating instrumentals and vocal interventions, designed as much for physical impact as for the subtlety of textures.
Born from France’s dub scene, Ashkabad pushes an electronic dub at the crossroads of stepper, digital reggae and bass music. Heavy basslines, choppy rhythms, cinematic atmospheres and wandering motifs structure progressive builds. On stage he plays versions, tempo variations and build‑ups calibrated for sound systems.
With Dub Dynasty and Bakû completing the bill, the evening offers a panorama of contemporary dub, between Jamaican roots and current electronic production.
