Info
Loa Mercury arrives at La Bulle Café in Lille on May 5, 2026. A singer-songwriter, composer and performer, she develops a queer pop that blurs the lines between rock tension, electronic melancholy and unapologetic sensuality. Her voice glides, grabs and sometimes fractures, serving lyrics in which the body, desire and loss take center stage. She stakes out a territory she calls "emo-erotic," a space where intimacy and instinct respond to one another without artifice.
Her references collide and create a singular grammar: Chopin crosses paths with Playboi Carti, Lana Del Rey meets sacred choirs. In her songs, night, intoxication, tenderness and rage coexist, with no hierarchy or affectation. She speaks of love as a shifting place, both battlefield and refuge, and of the self as a substance in transformation.
On stage, Loa Mercury focuses on the essential: a presence that prioritizes immersion, alternating between restrained moments and rawer impulses. A set built around contrast, designed to make the lyrics resonate as much as the textures, and to bring the audience as close as possible to what runs through her songs.
