David Walters

On May 6, 2026, at La Cave Argenteuil in Argenteuil, David Walters presents a live set shaped by his Franco‑Caribbean roots. A musician, singer and multi‑instrumentalist, he moves between Creole, French and English, bringing together guitar, percussion, keyboards and loops to create a sound that links songcraft with Creole heritage. Since Awa (2006) and Home (2011), he has woven intimate songwriting with supple rhythms borrowed from house, African influences and club culture. Signed to Heavenly Sweetness, he extended this trajectory with Soleil Kréyol (2020) and Nocturne (2021), the latter recorded with Vincent Ségal, Ballaké Sissoko and Roger Raspail, while refining a more acoustic approach.

On stage, his pieces range from spare ballads to Afro‑Caribbean grooves. His voice rests on delicate textures, supported by percussion and discreet loops that establish the pulse without excess. Between machines and instruments, Walters unfolds a repertoire that advances in shades, retains its link to the club and leaves room for the languages and timbres that define his signature.
