Roland Magdane « Clap de fin »

For almost fifty years, Roland Magdane has crafted a stage comedy all his own, balancing observations of everyday life with a taste for slapstick. With Clap de fin, he launches a farewell tour that promises to be a final curtain call: a show in which he revisits his favourite themes — family, little foibles, absurd situations — and brings back familiar characters, from his well-known letters about a dentist appointment, without sliding into a museum of memories. The tone remains direct, self-deprecation never far from his voice, and the writing plays on rhythm, sudden shifts and the telling detail that hits the mark.

Between new sketches and nods to his repertoire, Magdane sets a relaxed tempo, calling on what defines his style: plain language, a gift for storytelling and precise timing.
