Info
On November 10, 2026, at the Colisée Lens, Lynda Lemay and Jean-Félix Lalanne present À fleurs de cordes, an intimate acoustic face-to-face in which the Québécoise’s voice is laid bare and placed as close as possible to the texts, accompanied by a single guitar. She revisits signature songs and unveils previously unreleased material, in arrangements conceived by Lalanne that let the language breathe and reveal every nuance of the playing.
Their duo came about simply: an invitation to Autour de la guitare, followed by a session in Montreal, recorded live—two guitars and a great deal of listening. A guitarist with wide-ranging horizons, a composer for film and image and a long-time presence in Francophone song, Jean-Félix weaves countermelodies in real time, closely attuned to Lemay’s stories. The mix, done in Paris, favors clarity of the lyrics and warm guitars.
On stage, they perform a selection of well-known songs and five new pieces — La Fille de Clément (Clément’s Daughter), Les Tapis d’aiguilles (The Needle Rugs), Mon nouveau nez (My New Nose), Oublie-moi ici (Forget Me Here), Flocon (Snowflake) — with that direct way of telling everyday stories, relationships and fractures. Lalanne also takes the microphone for “Que s’est-il passé ?” (What Happened?), his first song as a singer‑songwriter. A stripped-down format, centered on words and guitars.
