Goldmen « Concert Best of Goldman »

Les Goldmen carry forward the work of Jean-Jacques Goldman with a Best Of tour that brings together his standout songs and those of the trio Fredericks Goldman Jones. Seven musicians revive pieces written to be shared, in their original keys and with careful attention to harmonies, guitars and keyboards. On 9 June 2028 at the Zénith de Caen, the group stages a journey through several decades of songs that have left their mark on French pop.

On vocals, Alain Stevez recaptures Goldman’s clear line and diction, while Sabrina Belmo adds the colour and power associated with Carole Fredericks. The duo alternates between solos and duets, supported by a solid rhythm section and tight backing vocals. On the programme: Quand la musique est bonne, Je te donne, À nos actes manqués, Né en 17 à Leidenstadt, Un, deux, trois, and other tracks that helped build the singer-songwriter’s career. Long supported by Michael Jones, Les Goldmen deliver a show faithful to the spirit of the originals, designed to make the collective choruses resonate and to bring Goldman’s songwriting back into the spotlight on stage.
