Nashville Pussy arrive in Barcelona with their unfiltered rock. The date is May 6, 2026, at Sala Upload. Lemmy went so far as to introduce them as “the last great rock and roll band from the United States,” and it wasn’t by chance: two decades on the road have honed a direct, fast, and sweaty repertoire.

Formed in 1997, the quartet revolves around the duo of Blaine Cartwright (vocals and rhythm guitar) and Ruyter Suys (lead guitar). Their blend of hard rock, blues, punk, and boogie rests on cutting riffs and unadorned lyrics, with Ruyter’s energetic solos setting the tone between a blues pulse and punk drive.

The rhythm section brings both history and punch. Bonnie “Bon” Buitrago went from sneaking into their shows as a fan to picking up the bass and staying; on drums, Californian Dusty Watson provides a precise strike forged alongside names like Dick Dale, Lita Ford, The Sonics, Agent Orange, and Supersuckers.
