Covertramp

Covertramp returns with a completely reworked show, a faithful and vibrant tribute to the world of Supertramp. Six multi-instrumentalists unfold for nearly two hours a sonic journey that recreates the tones, harmonies and arrangements of the era, while carefully attending to the group’s nuances and dynamics. At the microphone, Philippe Tailleferd moves between the sensibilities of Roger Hodgson and Rick Davies, striking a balance that serves the songs without freezing them.

This new programme mixes rare tracks and staples alike — from "School" to "Dreamer," from "Goodbye Stranger" to "Breakfast in America," and including "Take the Long Way Home," "Fool’s Overture" and "Give a Little Bit." Reworked lighting, layered keyboard textures, guitars and saxophone up front: everything is designed to plunge listeners back into the melodic storytelling of the ’70s and ’80s while allowing the live energy to breathe.

Covertramp will be at Le Phare - Grand Chambéry in Chambéry on March 18, 2027. It’s an opportunity to rediscover on stage a repertoire that has defined generations, carried by a band attentive to sound, arrangements and collective momentum.
