Feldup

On January 28, 2027, at La Laiterie in Strasbourg, Feldup took the stage with The Showerheads to bring to life an indie rock marked by shadows and tension. Emerging from the independent scene and first noticed online with self-released records, he established himself in 2020 with A Thousand Doors, Just One Key and the track "Falling Apart," before anchoring his music more firmly in rock with Stared at from a Distance (2023), a personal account in which "Waters" and "Shove It" occupy central roles. His songwriting, mostly in English, draws on autobiography and probes emotional fragility, isolation, and relationships with others. Melodic guitars teetering on dissonance, sudden surges, and a restrained vocal that plays on nuance: on stage this material tightens and gains a more direct, collective dimension with The Showerheads. The arrangements fuse the legacy of 1990s alternative rock with echoes of the 2000s New York revival, while preserving the ambient textures of his beginnings. The live set is conceived as a passage, between introspection and momentum, revisiting his trajectory in a clear, unadorned format.
