Hombres G « Los Mejores Años de nuestra vida »

On November 14, 2026, Hombres G will present “Los Mejores Años de nuestra vida” (The Best Years of Our Lives) at the Roig Arena in València, a journey through their catalogue from the Movida Madrileña to the present day. Formed in 1982 in Madrid, the quartet is led by David Summers (lead vocals and bass), with Rafa Gutiérrez and Dani Mezquita on guitars and Javier Molina on drums. Their early records—Hombres G (1985), La cagaste… Burt Lancaster (1986) and Estamos locos… ¿o qué? (1987)—established a blend of pop rock with echoes of new wave and punk-pop, and lyrics that portray everyday life, humour and romantic stories. After an initial phase that ended in 1992, the band returned in 2002 and resumed studio work and touring with albums such as Todo esto es muy extraño (2004), 10 (2007), Desayuno continental (2010), the collaborative acoustic project En la playa (2011) and Resurrección (2019). In concert, Hombres G blends songs from different eras with straightforward pop structures and accessible rock that puts melodies and choruses to the fore, balancing nostalgia and romantic comedy.
