5 Seconds of Summer return to Madrid on April 30, 2026, at Palacio Vistalegre Arena with a show that opens a new chapter for the Sydney quartet. Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin arrive with their sixth album, Everyone’s a Star, their first release on Republic Records, and with new songs such as “Not OK,” “Boyband” and “Telephone Busy” that intersect with the tracks that have defined their trajectory.

On stage, 5SOS favors straightforward pop-rock: guitars up front, catchy choruses and four-part vocal harmonies. Luke’s voice holds the whole together, Ashton’s drumming sets the pulse, Calum’s bass anchors the foundation and Michael’s guitar provides texture. The set revisits their catalogue and updates familiar pieces with a sharper sound, leaving room for the band’s energy and some electronic touches characteristic of this period.

After more than a decade on the road, the group has refined a common language: songs conceived for the arena format without losing a sense of intimacy. In Madrid they present that balance between urgency and craft, combining recent material and deeper cuts in an evening focused on what matters most: the connection with the audience through their new and old melodies.
