Folkeklubben og Danmarks Underholdningsorkester

On 6 November 2026 at MCH Herning Kongrescenter in Herning, Folkeklubben teams up with Danmarks Underholdningsorkester for a concert where the trio’s Danish songwriting meets a full orchestral palette.

Copenhagen-based Folkeklubben crafts songs at the crossroads of folk, pop and rock, with lyrics in Danish that weave everyday scenes, social notes and local references. The music leans on direct melodies and singable refrains, carried by an acoustic core that gains weight from percussion, electric guitars and layered vocals. The trio works as a tight collective, letting group dynamics shape the arrangements and foreground the voice, with pieces designed to breathe on stage. Over time, they’ve edged toward a pop-leaning production without losing their acoustic roots, staying close to narrative songwriting and a clear, unadorned sense of melody.
