Prewn

On June 5, 2026 at Beta2300 in Copenhagen, Prewn brings its Minneapolis-rooted indie rock to the stage. Led by singer, songwriter and guitarist Lily Konigsberg (also active in Palberta), the project leans into a lo-fi, alternative approach where direct song forms meet taut guitars, angular rhythms and melodic vocal lines. The band’s 2023 debut album, System, sketched a clear terrain: tracks that move between fragile ballads and rougher, more dissonant passages, with a sharp sense of dynamics and sudden tempo shifts.

Live, Prewn draws on the DIY networks of the Great Lakes scene, keeping arrangements lean and focused. Lyrics turn inward without losing bite, circling around recurring motifs and slightly off-kilter melodies. The result is a group identity that extends Konigsberg’s exploratory writing while holding together as a tight, collective sound. Expect a set that balances intimacy and abrasion, channeling tension into concise songs that land with clarity.
