Leæther Strip brings its hard-edged EBM and dark electro to RUST in Nørrebro on April 8, 2026, with special guest Bionic Bitch. Led by Danish musician Claus Larsen since the late 80s, Leæther Strip blends industrial punch, shadowy synthpop and atmospheric detours. Early releases like The Pleasure of Penetration and Solitary Confinement set the tone with direct rhythms, looping basslines and heavily treated vocals touching on personal and social themes, while Serenade for the Dead opened a more cinematic path later revisited after the mid-2000s return with After the Devastation. On stage, Larsen keeps it lean and physical, a compact setup built for clubs and festivals where sequences, vocals and low-end pressure do the work.
Formed in Copenhagen, Bionic Bitch taps straight into old-school EBM codes. The trio lines up Use on lead vocals, Ptr on drums and backing voices, and Jspr on synths. Their tracks hinge on percussive repetition, minimal electronics and a tense tempo, trading rough vocals and slogan-like chants over dry, abrasive pulses. Live, they push the rhythmic core to the front, playing the friction between drum hits, barked hooks and locked grooves. Perfect foil for Leæther Strip’s set, they keep the focus on movement and impact.
