MAD DUBZ lands at The Mod Club, Toronto, on 4 July 2026. Based in Guildford, UK, Tom Clifton has been shaping a strain of dubstep that leans into riddim and tearout since 2016. Releases on Halcyon, Cyclops Recordings and Bassrush chart that path, with the WACKY EP sketching his palette of granular bass design, off-kilter breaks and clipped hooks. Poppe, made with Automhate, sharpens this approach with tight sound design and incisive tempo shifts. His productions show up in the sets of Subtronics, Svdden Death and Infekt, placing him within an international network of heavy selectors and bass-first labels.
