Abdelkader Secteur « Marhaba »

After his first two shows, Abdelkader Secteur returns with Marhaba, his third one-man show, on May 8, 2026 at the Comédie de Lille. An Algerian comedian, he draws on observational stand-up delivered in a conversational tone, with characters and family- or neighborhood-based anecdotes nourished by a life shared between Algeria and France. Marhaba continues in this vein: a pared-down staging, a narrative rhythm and a direct rapport with the audience. The performance is played in dialectal Arabic; it is aimed primarily at an Arabic-speaking public while addressing situations that are widely relatable.
