The Boo Radleys

The Boo Radleys return to the stage in Clermont-Ferrand on 28 October 2026, at La Coopérative de Mai. The English band is presenting a concert conceived as a journey through their discography: Wake Up!, Giant Steps and C’mon Kids take pride of place, with rarities and a few surprises drawn from a rich catalogue. In the wake of the Welcome Back! tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of Wake Up!, the setlist alternates between straightforward pop and shoegaze-leaning passages, sustained by carefully crafted harmonies and the psychedelic detours that helped shape their sound.

Formed in the late 1980s, the band navigated the ’90s by frequently changing course, from indie noise to pop arrangements, with standout tracks such as “Wake Up Boo!”. On stage, that taste for contrast is evident: guitars that are at times rough-edged, at times clearer, layers of sound that accumulate and then strip back, and melodies that linger. A performance that reasserts the essence of their repertoire, between signature songs and less-expected tracks, played here and now.
