On April 1, 2026, Le Dodu (22 rue Jobin, 13003 Marseille) goes punk with Talco and Salvation. Talco, formed in Marghera near Venice, brings its punkchanka—a taut mix of punk rock, ska, folk and Latin influences. Propelled by a brass section, the band delivers lyrics in Italian rooted in political and social themes, with choruses sung in unison. From their earliest records to more recent releases, including Videogame (2022), Talco has sharpened a fast, melodic sound designed for live performance, balancing punchy riffs with danceable rhythms.
Salvation opens the evening representing Marseille. Formed in 2017, the trio champions melodic punk rock nourished by the California scene of the 1990s, with rapid tempos, harmonized vocals and catchy hooks. After Uncorrectable (2022) and shared bills with several indie acts, Salvation is unveiling new tracks and preparing a second album slated for 2026, in line with their energetic, melodic approach.
