GiedRé returns with Maxi Best-of on November 20, 2026 at the Théâtre de l’Atelier in Paris. She takes the songs she wrote for France Inter and gives them a second life. Born in a three‑minute format, they stretch out, reinvent themselves, rub up against the audience and take the time to breathe. On stage, GiedRé blends song and stand‑up, a folk guitar slung over her shoulder and lyrics that sting in all the right places. Her dark humour and social eye slide across clear melodies, creating the dissonance that is her signature: luminous refrains to speak of the dark, nursery‑rhyme detours, choruses that grate.
The program draws as much from those radio pieces as from her repertoire, without stringing songs out by the mile. She threads, trims, kicks off again, digresses, then lands on a neat rhyme. The songs gain depth, lengthen, take detours, leave room for silence. GiedRé talks, sings, answers the audience, and her tender and cruel portraits reveal themselves differently when they are no longer trapped in three minutes. Maxi Best‑of doesn’t pile up memories; it breathes new movement into her pieces and shows, up close, what in GiedRé prefers to remain outside the format.
