Info
Kittie plays Théâtre Beanfield in Montréal on June 27, 2026, led by sisters Morgan and Mercedes Lander. Formed in London, Ontario in 1996, the band forged a mix of nu metal, groove and alternative metal with metalcore edges: down‑tuned guitars, sharp shifts between screamed and clean vocals, and direct, heavy songwriting. From the breakthrough of Spit (2000) and the harsher turn of Oracle (2001) to the more melodic shades of Until the End (2004) and Funeral for Yesterday (2007), Kittie has kept a clear identity. Later records In the Black (2009) and I’ve Failed You (2011) push a darker, groovier side, carried forward by Fire (2024). On stage, the contrast of Morgan’s voice and Mercedes’ punch anchors a set that draws across these phases.
Special guests Kingdom Of Giants bring a Northern California take on modern metalcore, mixing harsh and clean vocals, thick riffs and melodic textures. After the early EP Abominor (2011), the band shaped its approach across Every Wave of Sound (2013), Ground Culture (2014) and All the Hell You’ve Got to Spare (2017), then folded more electronic elements into Passenger (2020).
Gore. completes the bill as an additional guest.
