Info

When these two bass music producers meet, an exciting blend of raw energy and precise technique emerges: G Jones and Eprom combine glitch-laden sound design, thunderous bass and compelling rhythms in their rare back-to-back sets. Their experimental approaches fuse influences from jungle, acid and techno, drawing on the full spectrum of bass-music traditions from both sides of the Atlantic. In their sets, modern production and the history of underground club culture collide, reconstruing the dancefloor in radical ways. The DJ set will take place on 17 April 2026 at 21:59 at Gretchen.

Eprom has been active in the bass music scene since 2007 and is regarded as a driving innovator. His sound blends influences from IDM, glitch and UK bass with deconstructed hip-hop rhythms. His work focuses on experimental electronica and technically precise sound design that often mixes analog hardware with digital distortion. In addition to his solo releases and his ongoing collaboration with G Jones, he has worked with artists such as Flume and Bleep Bloop. Together with Alix Perez he is also one half of the duo Shades, in which he explores more industrial and darker tonal colors.

G Jones likewise operates outside common bass conventions, fusing dubstep, glitch, IDM and acid-rave aesthetics into a distinctive, futuristic sound characterized by precise, fragmented rhythms, abrupt drops and analog-digital distortion. After early EPs such as “Transmissions” (2013), he also pursued projects like the duo Nite School Klik with DJ Shadow. His debut album, “The Ineffable Truth,” brought him international recognition in 2018. In 2023 he released the follow-up, “Paths,” on his own label, Illusory Records. In his productions G Jones often forgoes conventional song structures in favor of a futuristic, densely technical sonic language.

Bukez Finezt has been active since the mid-1990s and is one of Germany’s prominent dubstep producers. After beginnings in rap, big beat and drum-and-bass, he shifted his focus to dubstep from 2006 onward. Influenced by the early UK scene, his style now spans the full breadth of the genre. He delivers the full package: deep, dark sound design punctuated by playful basslines and off-kilter rhythms drawn from grime, trap beats, hip-hop, dub and more.

Deby Cage is a fixture in the bass-music landscape and is known for genre-crossing sets that range between technical precision and atmospheric density. Her sound sidesteps rigid genre boundaries and combines influences from dubstep, deep bass and halftime with experimental electronic structures.
