Barrington Levy stops in Paris on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the Cabaret Sauvage with his Only The Love of Jah Tour 2026. A key figure in the transition from roots to dancehall, the author of "Murderer," "Here I Come" and "Under Mi Sensi" delivers a set full of classics and versions tailored for the sound system. With a supple voice, chanted phrasing and vocal gimmicks, he moves between rub-a-dub, reggae and early digital tracks, drawing as much from his albums Englishman and Robin Hood as from a string of singles that traveled from Kingston to London. After more than forty years of career and collaborations on both sides of the Atlantic, he refocuses on what defines him: melody, groove and songwriting that connects Jamaica, the United Kingdom and North America.
On the bill, Typical Féfé, representing Antillean reggae, opens the evening with a set of Caribbean flavors—an ideal warm-up before Barrington Levy takes the stage.
