Toc Toc de Laurent Baffie

Toc Toc, a comedy by Laurent Baffie, arrives at the Théâtre Beaulieu in Nantes on June 25, 2026. In the waiting room of Dr. Stern, a neuropsychiatrist, six patients suffering from obsessive disorders find themselves together. Palilalia, Gilles de la Tourette syndrome, nosophobia, an inability to walk on lines… The doctor is delayed and conversation takes over: each person describes their rituals, negotiates space, and attempts compromises. Baffie offers a closed-room drama built on the mechanics of repartee, the mirroring of obsessions, and the way the group unsettles the individual.

Directed by Pascal Maillard, the cast brings together Mathieu Gaudin, Marie Elie, Sophie Morin, Nelly Pichotbadeaud, Kamal Rawas and Olivier Collin. The company lets speech circulate, moves through awkward silences, launches games to pass the time, and reveals the intimate logic of each disorder.
