Mac Demarco

Mac DeMarco returns to Berlin: on June 17, 2026 he will play at the Zitadelle Spandau. He’ll be presenting his current album Guitar, fresh from a 2025 tour of North America, Europe and the UK. The new tracks rely on clean guitars, simple hooks and that relaxed calm that has defined his songs for years. Live, he mixes fresh material with favorites from 2, Salad Days and Another One, along with quieter moments from This Old Dog and Here Comes the Cowboy, and occasionally instrumental detours from Five Easy Hot Dogs or One Wayne G.

DeMarco is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer rolled into one; his sound moves between indie, jangle pop and soft rock—warm, slightly psychedelic and deliberately unpretentious. Raised in Edmonton and now based in Los Angeles, he brings the intimacy of his home recordings to the stage with a band: relaxed in demeanour, precise in the details, and close to the song. The Berlin set should show where he stands today—new material in focus, with plenty of room for timeless favourites.
