Info
On 14 April 2026, Tide Lines bring their Highland-bred sound to Zentrum für Aktion, Kultur und Kommunikation (zakk), Fichtenstraße 40, Düsseldorf, Germany. Formed between the Scottish Highlands and Glasgow, the band shapes a rock-leaning folk-pop that carries traces of home: open skies, shifting weather and coastal imagery folded into electric guitars, keyboards and steady rhythms. Fronted by vocalist and guitarist Robert Robertson alongside Alasdair Turner, Ross Wilson and Fergus Munro, they write in English with occasional Gaelic inflections, keeping melody and storytelling at the centre.
Their fourth album, Glasgow Love Story, arrived in June 2025 on their own Tide Lines Music label, hitting No.1 in Scotland and No.11 in the UK charts. It follows Dreams We Never Lost (2017), Eye of the Storm (2020) and An Ocean Full of Islands (2023), a run that maps themes of memory, travel and community ties. On stage, Tide Lines connect that lineage with new material, balancing folk roots and modern pop hooks without losing the raw edge of a rock band.
