Tide Lines

On 16 April 2026 at Das Bett in Frankfurt am Main, Tide Lines bring their Highland-to-Glasgow songwriting to the stage. The quartet arrive with Glasgow Love Story, their fourth album released in 2025 on their own label, which hit No.1 in Scotland and No.11 in the UK charts. That record anchors a set where big, tuneful choruses meet storytelling shaped by coastlines, small towns and the pull of home.

The band still write and rehearse in a converted church on the Isle of Mull, and that shifting Hebridean light creeps into their sound: roomy guitars, bright keys, a rhythm section that moves from breeze to squall, and melodies built for voices. As vocalist and guitarist Robert Robertson likes to say, their songs carry traces of where they’re from, but they’re written to connect far beyond the Highlands.

At heart, Tide Lines are a rock band with folk roots and a dash of Celtic pulse. Live, that mix lands straight and unadorned: direct vocals, chiming hooks and arrangements that travel from intimate to widescreen without losing the thread.
