Glitterer brings its post-hardcore nerve and indie-minded introspection to Hard Luck Bar in Toronto on March 8, 2026. Led by Ned Russin (Title Fight) on vocals and bass, the Washington, D.C. outfit has grown from a solo, home-recorded project into a full band where saturated guitars, melodic bass lines and spare synths pull in the same direction. The new album, erer, out on Purple Circle Records, marks a tighter, band-driven turn: compact songs, direct vocals and a lean approach that keeps tension and melody side by side. Recorded with longtime collaborator Arthur Rizk, the release sharpens the group’s mix of indie rock instincts, post-hardcore roots and minimal electronics.
On stage, the current lineup — Russin with keyboardist Nicole Dao, guitarist Colin Gorman and drummer Robin Zeijlon — pushes the early minimalism toward something more immediate. Themes of identity, doubt and the daily grind thread through concise tracks that connect the early EPs to Looking Through The Shades, Life Is Not A Lesson and Rationale, with erer setting the tone for this new chapter.
