Info

Fleshgod Apocalypse bring their symphonic death metal to Théâtre Beanfield in Montréal on 18 May 2026. Formed in Perugia, the band blends rapid-fire riffs and growled vocals with piano, choral colours and themes rooted in European classical music. From the beginnings to Opera (2024), they’ve kept tightening the dialogue between baroque flourishes and modern metal. On stage, contrast drives the show: technical blasts and precise tremolos meet orchestrated layers, shifting from compact, relentless sections to broader, almost operatic surges. The conceptual threads and strong visual codes feed a set built on structure as much as force.

Joining them, Frozen Soul channel a colder strain from Fort Worth, Texas. Their tracks hinge on massive mid-tempo riffs, blunt rhythms and a frosty, repetitive mood that nods to 1990s death metal. Crypt of Ice (2021) and Glacial Domination (2023) fixed that approach; live, the focus stays on weight over speed, with grooves that grind forward and a stark, wintry imagery. Two angles on contemporary death metal, lined up for one night.
