On 31 August 2026 Joji will be performing with Solaris at the Hallenstadion in Zurich. Born in Osaka and raised in Australia, the artist has evolved from a YouTube persona into a songwriter who builds a calm, dense atmosphere from Alternative R&B, lo‑fi, pop and hip‑hop. On stage he moves between delicate ballads and tracks driven by trap‑tinged drums, carried by pared‑back electronics, deep bass and a voice that often remains very close. Since his 88rising days and releases such as Ballads 1, Nectar and Smithereens he has condensed his introspective writing into compact forms — translated live into slow arcs of tension, precise breaks and moments when the songs burst open.
Also on the bill is Tommy Richman. The American blends R&B, pop, funky basslines and melodic rap, favoring short, immediate songs and a voice that tilts between falsetto and rougher hues. After viral singles in 2024 he broadened his audience and brings a direct, band‑like energy to the stage without losing the melodic side. Together Joji and Richman sketch an evening between melancholy and groove — intimate in tone, clear in sound.
