Les Fo'Plafonds

Les Fo’Plafonds arrive on 24 February 2027 at the Espace Malraux in Joué-lès-Tours with a concert-performance where everything is transformed into music. Their imaginary set, a certain Rue Eugène Poubelle, serves as the pretext for a total sound game: nothing is thrown away, everything is salvaged, repurposed and becomes an "instruc." Cans, springs, wood, metal and all manner of odds and ends begin to speak in rhythm. Noise slips into sound, sound becomes a note, the note coalesces into a pulse. You lean in, follow the cadence and let yourself be guided by this flea-market orchestra that composes directly from the material.

Stylistically, Les Fo’Plafonds move between offbeat rock, French chanson and a punk spirit. Lyrics that flip expectations, dry riffs, a taste for irony and a sense of collective give the live show a direct, no-frills energy. Their thing is closeness and shared listening: to create a communal music from everyday objects, to reveal sounds we no longer hear, and to invite everyone into this musical jumble—at once playful, precise and earthy.
