Info
The Black Keys bring Peaches ’n Kream to Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa on October 17, 2026. Formed in Akron, Ohio, the duo of Dan Auerbach (guitar, vocals) and Patrick Carney (drums) plays rock rooted in blues, garage and alternative, having gone through an initial lo‑fi period with The Big Come Up (2002), Thickfreakness (2003) and Rubber Factory (2004). With Attack & Release (2008) and then an extended collaboration with Danger Mouse, the band refined its arrangements and followed with Brothers (2010), El Camino (2011) and Turn Blue (2014). Returning to a more direct approach on Let’s Rock (2019), they paid tribute to Mississippi blues on Delta Kream (2021), before Dropout Boogie (2022) and Ohio Players (2024). On stage, the format remains centered on the duo, sometimes supported by additional musicians, featuring repetitive riffs, mid‑tempo grooves and a stripped‑down sound.
Jeremie Albino offers a folk, blues and country interlude. Born in Toronto and raised in Prince Edward County, he lays his voice and guitars over stories of the road, work and rural life. His debut album, Hard Time (2019), blends acoustic and electric elements, touches of rhythm and blues and narrative songwriting. Solo or accompanied, he alternates understated ballads, roots‑rock accents and more soulful tempos, relying on his voice, the groove and simple arrangements.
