Flamingosis arrives at the Ritz PDB in Montreal on March 28, 2026. Behind this stage name is Aaron Velasquez, a New Jersey beatmaker who navigates between future funk, nu‑disco and chillhop. His tracks draw on funk, soul and disco samples from the ’70s and ’80s, laid over slow-to-midtempo grooves and melodic lines infused with jazz and boogie. On stage he performs DJ sets, reworking his productions, remixes and edits into a continuous flow designed for the dancefloor, between crate‑digging culture and club energy.

Spotted from the early 2010s with his beat tapes and releases like Pleasure Palette, Bright Moments and Flight Fantastic, Flamingosis has refined a playful, warm signature—recognizable for its immediate hooks, supple breaks and satin-like textures.
