Jimmy Eat World marks 25 years of Bleed American with a show shaped around the 2001 album that pushed their melodic guitars and clear vocals to the front. Formed in Mesa in 1993, the quartet of Jim Adkins, Tom Linton, Rick Burch and Zach Lind blends early emo leanings with alt-rock and power pop, and brings that arc to the stage with songs spanning Bleed American through Futures, Chase This Light, Invented, Integrity Blues and Surviving. The tour stops on July 20, 2026 at Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre in Vancouver, Canada.
Motion City Soundtrack joins the bill from Minneapolis, a pop punk and emo band known for bright synth lines, tight guitars and candid writing about anxiety, relationships and the everyday. From I Am the Movie to Commit This to Memory and Even If It Kills Me, their catalog stacks brisk tempos and catchy turns that carry well on stage.
Also on the bill, illuminati hotties, the Los Angeles project led by producer and songwriter Sarah Tudzin, threads punchy riffs, sharp dynamic shifts and wry, tender lyrics. From Kiss Yr Frenemies to Let Me Do One More and 2024’s Power, the group moves between jagged bursts and stripped ballads, shaping a live set that flips from rush to slow burn without losing the tune.
