Info
On October 14, 2026, The Black Keys bring Peaches ’n Kream to Scotiabank Centre in Halifax. Formed in Akron, Ohio, the duo of Dan Auerbach (guitar, vocals) and Patrick Carney (drums) blends blues rock, garage grit and alternative touches. The lo‑fi edge of The Big Come Up, Thickfreakness and Rubber Factory set their foundation with sharp riffs and dry drums. From Attack & Release onward, the writing widens, with Danger Mouse helping shape Brothers, El Camino and Turn Blue. Recent chapters move from the direct punch of Let’s Rock to the Mississippi blues homage of Delta Kream, then Dropout Boogie and the 2024 set Ohio Players. On stage, the pair leans on repetition, mid‑tempo grooves and a stripped frame, sometimes expanded by additional musicians.
Also on the bill, Jeremie Albino brings a folk, blues and country blend rooted in Toronto and the backroads of Prince Edward County. His debut Hard Time (2019) set a storytelling tone around work, travel and rural life, carried by acoustic or electric guitars with rhythm and blues colors. Solo or with a band, his songs shift from bare ballads to rootsy rock and more soulful tempos, keeping the focus on voice, groove and uncluttered arrangements.
