orbit is the project of German producer and songwriter Marcel Heym. His tracks pair pared-back acoustic guitars with soft, atmospheric synth pads; in between sits a fragile voice and lyrics that mirror the push and pull between city and countryside. Created between Berlin and his rural home, orbit has built a DIY aesthetic since the 2020 debut EP Perspectives: a close circle of friends handles visuals, videos and handmade merch, and intimate shows in gardens, forests and private settings preceded performances on festival stages and in clubs across Germany, Switzerland, Austria and later all of Europe.
