Ray Wilson, Stiltskin

Ray Wilson & Stiltskin will perform on 6 November 2026 at Music Hall Worpswede e.V., Worpswede. Wilson, born in 1968 in Dumfries, Scotland, emerged in the early 1990s on the alternative rock scene with Guaranteed Pure. In 1994 he became the frontman of Stiltskin, whose sound concentrates on dark-tinged, melodic rock, before he joined Genesis in 1996 and took over the vocals on the album Calling All Stations (1997) and the subsequent tour.

After that chapter he turned his focus to his own path between rock, pop and acoustic ballads: first with the project Cut_ and the album Millionairhead (1999), then as a solo artist with Change (2003) and The Next Best Thing (2004). Later releases include Propaganda Man (2008), Chasing Rainbows (2013) and, in 2016, Song for a Friend and Makes Me Think of Home. On stage he blends his solo programme with reinterpretations from the repertoires of Stiltskin and Genesis. Between studio work, European tours and these returns to his musical foundations, Wilson has developed a set that brings together his various creative phases — direct, melodic and true to the songwriting craft that has accompanied him for years.
