Info
On 12 June 2026, Torfrock will play on the open-air stage in Wiesmoor. Founded in 1976 in Schleswig-Holstein, the band defines its self-styled “Bagalutenrock” with a classic hard-rock line-up, direct riffs and clear choruses. Their songs, sung in Standard German and Low German, tell of the workshop, the country road and the village pub — short scenes from the North, told dryly and close to everyday life. Live, Torfrock rely on guitar-driven power, propulsive grooves and pointed stage remarks that frame their stories without interrupting the flow.
A fixed part of their set is the connection to the “Werner” universe: tracks like “Beinhart” sit alongside material from different phases of the band, keeping the bridge between comic-reference and their own repertoire intact. Sonically it remains straightforward and solid, with choruses that ignite and hooks that stick. Defining are the voices and storytelling of founders Klaus Büchner and Raymond Voß, whose timing and diction give the band its character. On stage this produces a compact rock set with a North German edge — focused, direct and straight to the point.
