Klangkarussell bring their Kaleidoscope Live Tour to Cologne’s Live Music Hall on 23 April 2026. Since 2011 the Salzburg producers and DJs Tobias Rieser and Adrian Held have worked together as a duo; they first attracted widespread attention in 2012 with the instrumental track “Sonnentanz,” and the album Netzwerk followed in 2014. Their sound revolves around melodic deep house at a moderate tempo, smooth basslines, airy synth pads and carefully constructed transitions.
In concert, Klangkarussell translate this aesthetic into a set that favors long arcs of tension over quick effects. Tracks unfold gradually, themes recur, vocals appear as colors within the arrangement, and the dynamics remain fluid. The program links earlier pieces with newer singles and remixes and moves between house, accessible electronica and downtempo-leaning moments. At its core are atmosphere, melody and motion — a concentrated focus on what defines the duo’s sound.
