Celeste : 20th Anniversary

On April 9, 2026 at the Transbordeur in Villeurbanne, Celeste marks twenty years of activity and the fifteenth anniversary of Morte(s) Née(s.). Born in Lyon in the mid-2000s, the band moves between black metal, sludge and post-hardcore, with heavy rhythms, French vocals and a stage aesthetic immersed in darkness. A return to the roots for an immersive set: meticulously calibrated lighting, a full-bodied, gritty sound and constant contrast.

For the occasion, Celeste unveils a fully remixed and remastered reissue of Morte(s) Née(s.), accompanied by revised artwork. The new mix widens the sonic space, warms the tones and highlights the melodies and textures that thread through the album, a landmark in their post-black trajectory. On stage, these nuances come into contact with more recent material, alternating tension build-ups, abrupt ruptures and moments to breathe. A hometown appointment that plunges back into one of the band’s founding chapters and replays its sonic substance, balancing density, darkness and precision.
