Covertramp - Hommage à Supertramp

Covertramp returns with a new show tailor-made to immerse audiences in the world of Supertramp. On 19 March 2027 at the Palais des Congrès de Montélimar - Charles Aznavour in Montélimar, the group presents two hours, 100% live, performed by six multi-instrumentalists who take care with the sound, arrangements and vocal harmonies. The program mixes rarely performed concert pieces with the catalogue’s essentials, from “School,” “Dreamer” and “Goodbye Stranger” to “Breakfast in America,” “Take the Long Way Home,” “Fool’s Overture” and “Give a Little Bit.”

Conceived as a journey through the different facets of the cult band, the set alternates intimate passages and instrumental surges, with lighting completely redesigned to highlight the dynamics of each piece. On vocals, Philippe Tailleferd moves between the timbres and sensibilities of Roger Hodgson and Rick Davies, seeking balance with the collective performance rather than mere imitation. Faithful to the period’s colors without freezing the material, Covertramp emphasizes the melodic and narrative dimension of these compositions and addresses both long-time fans and those discovering this repertoire on stage.
