Richard Ashcroft

As the voice and pen of The Verve in the heart of the ’90s, Richard Ashcroft has since forged a solo path where British rock meets expansive melodies and a marked sense of songwriting. On 24 June 2026 he plays the Zénith in Paris for a concert that retraces that journey, from the psychedelic and orchestral textures of his early work to the more intimate songs on albums such as Alone with Everybody, Human Conditions, Keys to the World, These People and Natural Rebel, and to the reworked versions from Acoustic Hymns Vol. 1. On stage, his elongated vocals and introspective lyrics create a melodic tension that lets the songs breathe, oscillating between electric density and more stripped-back moments.
